About Chess Arena
Chess Arena is a free site for playing board games in the browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install.
We built it because the games people actually grew up with are scattered across many apps. Chess and Go are easy to find, but Vietnamese favourites such as Co Ganh, O An Quan and Caro rarely get the same care. Here they sit side by side, with the same rating system and the same way to invite a friend.
What you can do here
- Play against people, or against computer opponents of different levels.
- Send a friend a link and start a private game.
- Solve classic puzzles collected from books hundreds of years old.
- Follow your rating in each game, and watch games in progress.
- Add the site to your home screen and open it like an app.
How it is paid for
The games are free. Advertising pays for the servers, and you can always choose whether to watch an ad for extra lives.
